Every year, nearly 100,000 Japanese vanish without a trace. They are known as johatsu, or “evaporated people”. What drives them to engineer their own disappearances? Chikayo Morijiri worked as a local producer to speak with the night moving agency, evaporated people, and also who is waiting for their love. It was such an honor to work with Sheau Huei who an amazing producer and director is not just but is also understanding Japanese culture and feelings to make this happen! A new Netflix docu-series, titled “Dogs” explores the journey of various canines around the globe. Each of the six series tells the story of the relationships between dogs and it’s caregiver. "Vice On HBO", known as one of the most influential news program in the United States, and Chikkimedia collaborated on making 2 films for their 65th episode series.
The first one focuses on longevity and science, looking at the research of the wonderful lifestyle of long-lived Okinawans. We finally made it happen to capture and witness with our own eyes every moments of Okinawa's longevity celebration, "Kajimaya".

Recently, we've wrapped 2 episodes for their series titled「Explorer」. Together with NatGeo, making our way from planning and researching to on-set shooting, we found ourselves unravelling this deep dark world through stunning images.

Earlier this year we led production for the Discovery Channel series "No Limits," planning and handling logistics for host Idris Elba as he traveled Japan studying martial arts. Every year cadets at Japan's National Defense Academy prepare to battle each other in a fierce sport called Botaoshi. Up to 300 players square off in an attempt to pull down a three-metre pole held upright by the opposing team. These young men are training to become future leaders in Japan's Self-Defense Forces, and see the game as a test of their physical strength and strategic abilities...watch here
